The village of Ādaži (formerly known as Neuermühlen) is located in the middle of Ādaži Municipality. It is also is bothwith in the in the historic Vidzeme Region (Livonian: Vidumō) and the modern Riga Planning Region.

The village is also well known for the near by Latfood factory producing Ādažu Čipsi potato chips, which are said to be the best known brand in Latvia, and training facilaty at Ādaži military camp.

It has a population of about 9,000 and it is on the banks of the river River Gauja, which flows around the entire village in a large loop.





Sport and leisureEdit

The town has a noteworthy tennis center, with outdoor clay and indoor hardcourt located next to the public school. The local wakeboarding club that ride on the River Gauja.
